The Leftover Roast Show, Beef Lentil Soup
*** Soak over night
1 to 2 cups Lentil *** Drain and rinse, Set a side *** Heat In a pot 2 TBL Butter *** Add and cook until onions are about half cooked 3/4 cup Onions diced 3/4 cup Celery diced 2 cups sliced Carrots **** Add Lentils **** Add 2 cups diced leftover Roast *** stir and add water to cover *** turn down to simmer and add 1 GOOD TBL Beef Base 1 tsp Pepper *** Cover and simmer until the lentils are soft *** Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups diced Cabbage *** Simmer until Cabbage is cooked and serve |
